Farm Fun

Our time in Belgium was incredible. A highlight that we have yet to mention was having the honour of meeting Vicky's parents on their farm. They were warm, welcoming, generous and interesting! We are very lucky that our amazing friends have amazing families that invite us into their homes (and barns). Their property and house are beautiful. We shared coffee and an impressive variety of treats and discussed the world! It was fascinating hear the experiences and opinions from an EU farmer's point of view.  We looked in on the skidish pigs, said hi to the cows and let an adorable calf suck our fingers. Yeah, we did that. Love it!  Good times on the farm!Thank you so much to Vicky's parents for welcoming us into your home, and letting us (lovingly) harass your animals!
Speaking of cows....Two cows standing next to each other in a field. Daisy says to Dolly, "I was artificially inseminated this morning." "I don't believe you," said Dolly. "It's true, no bull!" exclaimed Daisy.  Tee hee!

And finally, a huge THANK YOU to Kevin and Vicky. Our very favourite Belgiums, of all time, in the history of ever. We had a fantastic time with you in Bruges. We really appreciate you driving us all over the place, letting us in on all the local secrets, picking out the very best beers, and having us in your amazing house! What a view from the guest room! Most of all, thank you for your friendship. Can't wait to see you again, on some continent, in any city, any time, sooner rather than later!
