We liked Leon, Nicaragua more than Granada for reasons I can't quite put my finger on. It was still very hot, and there were lots of tourists but it had a very different feel about it. Parque Central was a place we actually wanted to hang out, there were lots of great places to eat and drink and stroll, and our hostel, Tortuga Balooda was fantastic. We mostly wandered, did some laundry and caught up on a few blogs, and caught up on some housekeeping related items while sitting on our own private terrace. Here's our lens on Leon:

The colours are beautifully vivid. Puts you in mind of Spain/Portugal/Greece all rolled into one
